Hi I just joined this group, I have a few poems I wrote, if you can call them that. Well here is one of them. Hope u enjoy.
searching...
alone tonight, lonely thoughts fill my mind
of all the people, why are you so hard to find
why must it be this way? i don't ask for much
but every night i pray just for your touch
i make it through the day behind a mask
i live in denial and hide my past
ashamed of my ways and the things i do
how can i hope to ever find you
a longing tonight, as thoughts fill my head
you are the reason for these tears i shed
i'm tired of always feeling this way
you're a memory that will fade away
