I has played chess since I was 8 years old. I always play with my brother. It's fun and nice for me.

Ok.... 
it's all about my career & it was started since TOW MONTH AGO, 
but in fact i learned it when i was 8 years old 
and i've got nobody to play chess with me, my brothers hate 
this game, my friends hate this game, my father hate ME! :D 
so, no way 2 spend almost 10 years without chess. 
N' that was Cool

15....been addicted since then...dont get to play too often though....

since i was a 4 year old...
.....earliest opponent my mom.....

i gess i started at five and played until six or seven because the only person that played chess in my family was my aunt then i only play occasi and now and starting playing again and i think im doing well bye the way i'm 20

I think as from about 10 years! At start, I considered it only as a little hobby. I got beaten everytime by my brother at that time but now in 2007, I watch chess news very often and I downloaded so many chess programs. One of my most powerful chess programs is "Deep Fritz 10"

I started ... 3rd grade. I guess I was 8 as well! Brother bought me this nice wooden set... I used to bring it to school. nErd!

i went to a chess club when i was 7 but i new the moves and i was playing with my father from the age of 5! (sorry for my english! :P)

I started playing chess as far back as I can remember-I mean,I can't remember cause its been quite a long time.

i started playing about age 13 about that time. I saw a book in my bookcase and it was my dad's i told him to teach me but he said i had to go read the book and then we can play so i learnt Chess the hard way.But i still love the game it's the best.
