the knight is a very good piece but if we analyse well, we can see that the worst enemies of u're opponent are the pawns! a group of 'bout 4 pawns is very difficult to stop, n the case is worst if they have the support of a bishop!they destroy everythingif u know how to play with them. u can see a GM play with his pawns from the beginning till the end and win the game on www.chessmaniac.com . I'd say the pawn....it's the only piece with the abality to be transmuted to another....there very weak at the beginning of the game however they have the power to surprise.

What an interesting question. I'd have to say, my favorite piece on the board is the King. I love my King and would serve him to the death. In life, I am the Queen, other times the Bishop (good and evil) but I was born a pawn. I fought, bled and nearly died many times in my attempt to move across the dualities of life (pain/pleasure; black/white; yes/no) but I survived and fought courageously and for my effort I was promoted to be Queen. In the end, it is not the piece that matters but my LOVE for the GAME. The object of that game is to keep my King alive, so while I am not a great player, I'm good enough that he still LIVES!!
