I recently read Arthur Golden's book "Memoirs Of A Geisha" and saw the film after reading the book. The film is beautiful but the book is magical; it really lets you into the fascinating hidden world of a Japanese geisha. Has anyone else read it here? What did you think?Ratings out of ten?

after reading the book i felt that i had almost lived my life with Nitta Sayuri shared her joys, sorrows, anguish , triumph, her little tricks .. Arthur Golden has not only brought the old Geisha's to life but also succeeded in making the book a must have collectors item .. i would rate d book 8 on 10 .
