a mother's love to her child (who's intentions are good), is a perfect example of unconditional love. Think about it, mothers don't judge, they would willingly sacrifice anything and then some to protect her child in any way. where as the love between a woman and a man is not perfect, because unconditional love means "no matter what", and if there was unfaithfulness involved with the two lovers, it simply wouldn't work. where as mothers no matter how much the child has hurt the mother in any way the mother will always wait with open arms.

Mother:nurture, proction, understanding, warmth, gentle, strong, support, ur numer one fan-no matter what, there are so moany other cualitys that make up a normal mom. But in essence there are positive ones than negative ones in a normal mother.
Perhaps some has a defirent experoance and thuis have a different opinion, but in the worst cases we can perhaps agree that we all need to recieve and give love and natures answer to that is ur mom and dad, and in substitution a care giver, friend brother and so on. Posted by Somefooldramaqueen

mother; 1/2 of my genes, the incubator of my embryo, the person, who along with my father, we're mutually responsible for my creation and hence existance.
mother in general; 1/2 of the creative forces which rear offspring. what a mother does and what a mother is are quite different things. Posted by Trevor

Mothers were created to protect and nurture life until it was time for the child to enter the world. Once in that world a mother is suppossed to continue nurturing and protecting that child. That child was a piece of her physically and energetically. Mother's are supposed to love the fruit of their womb unconditionally. But there are mother's who fulfill the criteria without giving birth to the child they offer their love to. And should those mother's be held in higher regard because they don't "have" to complete a child's basic need by having the loving hand hold them during the bad times?

Mother can be understood as the "Maker" of an "Other"..
She makes a Child in Her womb, and delivers Him or Her into this World to experience Life.. Loving Her Child as She Loves Herself, She Loves that Child, and nurtures that Child until they are willing and ready to care for themselves. These are the greatest gifts, Life, and Love.
