just listen to Metallica 's first album " Kill 'em All " , or "And Justice For All " and check out the drum line in each song , kick ass man ,lars performance is so fast didn't u know that he made 5 crashs in less than one second ! , he is not the best but he is one of the best

well...like i said Travis Barker is my favourite drummer...he's just amazing, so imaginative,and creative,and fast,he completly changes the sound of the band he plays in! and i like Jose Pasillas, he has some crazy cool ideas, and Carter Beauford...he ROCKS!!!

so Pedro, did you listen to Metallica albums? You know you can't say that a drummer sucks only because you don't like the band he plays in. And it's not even about the music. I agree with Jet that you have to give attention to drum line, as for Lars, i think he is maybe one of the greatest and creative drummers in the world. I'm not a fan of Metallica, but i'm a drummer :))))
And by the way, if you are interested, then you have to know, that the album in 2002 St. Anger, is so much Punk album, and i think it was not easy, after 20 years from Kill'em all (which was so fucking punk! :D ) make another Album with the same attitude. Anyways man, i think i spoke too much :))) When you've listened, tell me your oppinion.

I totally agree with u Jet, I think Lars Ulrich is one of the best drummers in this moment in his genre, and there ir many people who has started playing drums because of him.
