wa 3alekom alsalam. You can enter Palestine via Jordan, or Egypt (for Gaza) or by airplane and land in the ben gurion airport in Al qods and then take a car/taxi from there in to the areas you wish to visit in the 1967 borders. It will be a very long trip even if you have a EU passport, the occupiers will ask you a million questions probably if you have a arabic name. You will go thrue several checkpoints. they do not spare anyone, not even old ladies. But it will be a lot easier if you have a EU or American passport. You can also take the boat from Cyprus to Haifa or Yaffa (tel aviv as they call it) and from there move on in to the 67 areas or you can enjoy Haifa and Yafa and the rest of the occupied cities without entering the 67 borders, by so u will not suffer from the checkpoints and all their questions and looks.

As for the safety, it depends on where you are going, if it is Gaza then sure you could expect a clash anytime, and in the westbank it happens every now and then but not as much as Gaza these days. it also depends on where in the westbank. And then again, by the summer, who knows what will be going on at that time. Just wait and see how the current situation is by then.

I'm going too this summer inshAllah :D

I've asked some Palestinians here in Montreal and they told me it was fine for the Canadian passport...I'm sure it would be the same with the EU...

Salam Sweety. If you have a israeli stamp on your passport then you can't enter Syria, Lebanon and some other countries. You can enter Jordan and Egypt with it though. If you have a syrian stamp on your passport or any other stamp from Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia or Yemen then, for israeli citizens this means they can be prosecuted when they return, even if they entered those countries with a European passport or American or any other Non-Israeli. As for non-israeli citizens it might cause problems but im not sure what kind. 100000000 questions is a guarentee for a syrian stamp but i believe it depends on their mood if they let you in or not. I don't think i know anyone who has tried to enter Israel from a ''enemy state'' so unfortuantly i can not give you a clear reply regardin that but as for you entering Syria with a Israeli stamp, that is not allowed at all.

If you are coming, then i would recommend you to renew your passport so it wont have any stamps from these countries in it. And then before u travel to Syria or any other ''enemy country'' then you renew it again, if your country allows this. if its not allowed then maybe they will allow it anyway if u explain the circumstances for them.

I'm not sure yet :D

I'm going with the ISM (International Solidarity Movement), once I'm there, they send volunteers where they are needed. But I think they give us free weekends so I'll probably travel all over the place...Quds (for sure!), Nablus, Yafa, Aree7a, wherever I can InshAllah :D

Sorry to disappoint you but they stopped doing that last year. Now it is only in rare cases they do it, and i dont know if your case is counted as rare.. but i doubt it.

One very important thing to remember is to always take with you evidence (when crossing checkpoints or moving from city to city both in 48 and 67) that prooves you entered legally otherwise you will face a lot of problems, and never leave ur purse unsupervized as they might plant drugs or other illegal stuff on you if they feel like messing around. There is no limit with them. Also make sure your cellphone doesnt have any picture that might annoy them, if the soldiers u face are in a bad mood, then they might use that against u, excpect to be searched, they can even pick up ur digital camera, ya3ne expect that anything you carry with u can be controlled. NEVER CROSS ANY BORDER OR CHECKPOINT ON YOUR OWN.

also, A lot of the ISM people have been attacked by settlers and the army so make sure to not move around on ur own or even with only 2-3 people, you will need more than that, if it involves passing by them (the settlers), especially in Hebron. they don't care if your a girl or a man.

also remember what happened to rachel corrie, so if there is a case where a house is being demolished or something and ur sent to protect it and they tell u to leave, then leave, dont for a second believe they will spare your life. Be careful in everything, even in walking children to school, they too have been attacked wallah.
