Topic: Gaza Holocaust: More 15 Palestinian victims due to siege
Israel kills more Palestinian patients in Gaza Strip . . . Gaza Strip, January, 12, 2oo8, (PCAS) - Israeli siege imposed on Gaza Strip is still harvesting Palestinian the lives of patients rapidly with high rates. The deaths cases of Gaza patients rise up to 70 as Israeli prevented them to get medicines and travel for treatment abroad. Patients of various diseases are falling down with high rates due to recent shortage of medical means. Patients are suffering from Israeli policies including collective punishment which affected the life circulation. The names of victims as follows: 1. Razan Muhamad Kamel Atta, 6, died due to Brain Trophy. 2. Mustafa Muhammad Slaih, 55, died due cirrhosis. 3. Fawzi Ismail Al Aqad, 69, died to kidney failure. 4. Mariam Zuhdi Joda, 32, died due to breast cancer. 5. Muhammad Abu Taha, 45, died due to cancer. 6. Mariam Hijazi, 25, died due to cancer disease. 7. Atya Muhamad Joda, 57, died due to kidney failure. 8. Yousef Zo'rob, 50, kidney failure disease. 9. Randa Ibrahim Abu Oda, 19, kidney failure disease. 10. Hasan Hasan Khalili Silmi,60, kidney failure disease. 11. Mahfoza Ragheb Shorab,31, stomach cancer disease. 12. Yehia Al Jamal, 51, kidney cancer. 13. Khalili Harb Abu Hilal, 60, Leukemia. 14. Nadia Abu Zuhri,51, Cancer 15. Safia Shaheen, 44, Cancer. During the most recent period, a great shortage of a large number of basic pharmaceutical needs, that is 92 types of medicines until the date of the preparation of this news report, and another 84 kinds are expected to go out of stock within the upcoming days. This is in addition to the disability of 134 medical instruments to perform because of the lack of spare parts needed for their maintenance; among these machines are 31 kidney dialysis machines. Patients are in prompt need to highly specialized surgeries especially in the brain, nerves and bones, as well as the treatment requirements for cancer patients, and those with kidney and heart diseases, could not travel abroad for treatment. The Occupation refused to allow 1000 patients to leave the Strip for treatment since the beginning of the siege, out of which there were 270 serious cases. Since the Popular Committee Against the Siege (PCAS) started its activities towards the end of October, it has registered 68 cases of deaths due to the siege itself. The Red Cross has issued reports that document the arrangements they make for the travel of acute cases from Gaza to Israel or though it for medical reasons.
