تركوني وحيدة و بلا انا، جردوني من كل ما يصفني، بلا جذع ... بلا لحاء ... بلا أوراق، حتى فروعي استأصلوها مني ...و تركوني بلا أولاد. صنعوا لي معروفاً –دون قصد- لم يقربوا جذوري و تركوها راسخة في الأرض الصلبة. في الماضي كان الماء وفير .. ينعشني و يؤنسني بالطيور المهاجرة الباحثة عمّا يرويها من تحتي، كان لهذا الماء فعل السحر على تربتي الصلبه، حين يتغلغل في ثناياها ..كانت تلين فتذوب اجزائها و تداعبني و اداعبها، أمد جذوري فيها لأرسخ و ترحب هي بي لسعادتها بعطائها. أما الآن ... فقد تعبت و خارت قُوى بهجتي...إنقشع الماء من كثرة خطايا البشر، و قسيت التربة على جذوري تمنعها من الإمتداد...بل و تعتصرها !.راسخة انا...و لكن بلا حياة ، لماذا تمادوا في خطيئاتهم؟! لماذا تجَرّأوا على حياتي و حياة أولادي؟! لماذا جشعوا و لم يقنعوا بما يلبّي إحتياجاتهم منِّي؟! أليسو هم أصحاب العقول؟! أليسو هم ذوي الضمائر الواعيه؟!لكنِّي سأحيا بالأمل....ذات يوم سيهطل المطر، و ستمد الأرض لي يديها منادية ومُرَحِّبة و ستثبِّتني مداعِبة... و سأعيد ما قد مضى من جذع منتصب بعزة، و أولادي من فروع متشعبة متداخلة متماسكة كوحدة، سأمرح وسط عائلتي، و أستعيد الحان الطيور الباعثة لكل جميل و أصيل ... ستبقى جذوري ...وتبقى الأرض ... ويأتي الماء عن قريب و سنعيد ما كان في الماضي من حياة التعاون...بإذن الإله المجيب.
