today we have a huge sand storm.....even though the window and vents are closed in my apartment there is a thin layer of fine sand blanketing everything in my flat.....still have to find a good maid to come in and clean this sand pit....I would do it myself but dang! i've been so busy with tutoring and report cards.....

I've been dating a nice guy named Akmed for 4 months.....he's real cute with his dishdasha and guthra.....i find what these arab men wear so sexy.....a lot of women do.....so mysterious....

well...i've learnt a few new words in the past 9 months that i have been here.....i even wore one of those hijabs.....i had to because i took my grade five class to the Grand Mosque in Kuwait City a few weeks ago....it was real neat.....

Last month i took a trip to Jordan and Israel with my friend, Emily for spring  break.....crossing the border into Israel was interesting....had to make sure that we didn't get our Canadian passports stamped or we wouldn't be allowed back into Kuwait.....it was worth it to be in Jerusalem over Passover....such an amazing city...wow...have to return....

new month i am heading to spain and portugal with my friend  before i head to Detroit and back to Windsor for three weeks.....

I just love my job and teaching is my passion.....i am so lucky....to work at something i love and to travel the world......life is great
