If they are trying to be good parents that's ok, if they are giving you advices (on their own way though) that's still ok. But they can not control your life and really know what is good and what isn't. This is your story, this is your adventure which you have to explore by your own. You don't have a map for life journey. But you have a strategy of following your own dreams, that's a clue, appereantely, the only one you have.
Ann, my dear, it is easy just to flow into depression but that will not lead you anywhere. You must stand for your own dreams and wishes, there is no one to stand by them except you.
If your parents can bring you down with this silly words like "you are stupid and naive" then it means you are not sure what you want. That is very good choice for them to attack with their own arguments. Now if you are really sure in yourself and your wishes then you can win this battle without any problems. ^^

Hmm...well, first you must be completly sure in your decision. You must take in option that everything has it's good and bad sides, rises and falls.
Then the second step is to talk to your parents. I know it's hard but you must put your own interests in first place for your own goodness. Sooner or later they will have to deal with it if your happiness is in their interest. And I am sure it is ^^ Just talk to them calmly. Tell the what bothers you ^^ I am sure everything's gonna be okay :)
