As it stands for black people, it would seem that it is still a sad state of affairs when it comes to media images, especially to those that are more susceptible to these images like our youth. Our little boys grow up thinking that they need emulate rappers. Our little girls see young women shaking their assess for money. Black women it would seem have been silenced on the topic of sex. It is important that black women take more control over the images that are misrepresenting them in the media. There is some light at the end of this dark tunnel.
