I lost my wife not to long ago to cancer. I'm looking for things to fill the space that has developed. We were married for 38 years, so I'm kind of rusty but do understand commitment and honesty as I was her care giver. During that period I put on some weight, which I'm working on through diet and workout. I am a professional (CFO of a local company), enjoy sports, travel, watch some TV, and work to much. My days are full, but evenings need attention. Love to go out to dinner, dance (May need a lesson or two), theater, concerts, and engage in good conversation on a verity of subjects. Good wit, a sense of humor with a smile is a good description. Would like to make some signal friends and see where it leads with no particular urgency. I have been a soccer referee for 30 years. Am director of referee instruction for the state of Kansas. Retired my NCAA badge 5 years ago. Am working out hard to get in shape and back on the field after a two year absence. Started smoking when my wife got sick (had quite for 20 years) am now on the patch and smokeless for 3 weeks. Love to travel, we lived in Europe for two years and traveled extensively. I get out of town at least one weekend a month. The 4th of July 2003 weekend I met my son who lives in North Carolina, in LA, and we sailed to Catalina Island with friends (see my photos), even went para-sailing, what a great time. This year have been to Hawaii (last June) to referee for 8 days, and backpacked Italy with a 30 year old friend for 9 days last Sept. Yes, I'm a 60 body with a 40's mind and activity level. I'm a low maintenance guy who is financially independent and brings no excess baggage to the table. I took the time to post my picture, it's only fair that you do the same. My friend and I just got back from a 15 day trip (yes we packpacked) that included Budapest, Vienna, and Prague......yes, I do like to travel.
