About Me
I am a Shaman blessed with the rich heritage of African, Seminole, and Cherokee. My elders were my first teachers. I grew up in a household where my Great-great Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Grandmother, and Mother were all under one roof. And to say things would get interesting around that environment would be a gross understatement. But, looking back, I'll tell you that I wouldn't have traded it for anything in this world--it was a true treasure! There were five constant male influences as I was growing up--my Grandfather, two biological Uncles; one "adoptive" Uncle, and my cousin Peter Chatman--better known to the world as "Memphis Slim". It was never lost on me the dynamics of growing up in such a household with these powerful male and female energies. And I chose the path of learning all I could from both sides, and to walk the path of balance. My tribal/ceremonial name is 'Standing Eagle', I am now 57 years old, and am considered an "Elder". I've worn many "hats" on this Earthwalk--Student, Soldier and Combat Photojournalist; Spiritual Warrior, Teacher, Healer, Artist, and Shaman--and I'll offer my "Straight-Up", "Reality Therapy" approach to Life and Spirituality to any that ask. From a Dream/Vision I had on Fri, Oct 7, 2005, I've been tasked with conducting five ceremonies world-wide for peace over the next year, starting with the Winter Solstice on Dec 21, 2005. The others will be on the Equinoxes and Solstices next year. These ceremonies are for all of the people on the planet to participate in--yes even the organized religions if they are finally ready to step outside the boxes they are in, put all of their 'trumped up' differences aside, and work together as a collective human voice! In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged.

Domestic violence, unemployment, drugs, wars, genocide, religious persecutions, racism, sexual persecution & intolerance; pro-life vs. pro-choice; mis/dis-information, character assassination, political unrest, fear mongering, world-wide starvation and famine—these are all institutionalized, geo-political, and socio-economic tools to keep the masses divided, ungrounded, mis-guided, and knocked of their centers—they are a continuing symbol of what has been going wrong in the US and other countries around the world where the stewardship of the nations was hijacked when the people were "napping" or got complacent. These “trigger-point” are insidiously cultivated, and packaged by our respective governments to be methodically used on their constituents to jerk our attention away from the true and pressing issues of our times--keeping us paying attention to the wrong things. The true enemy is the “New World Order” the corporations using the individual governments as their mouthpieces, their puppets—and the people of the world are the pawns, their seemingly mindless chattel. However, in ever increasing numbers, the “sleepers” are waking up; the “blind” are beginning to see; the “mute” have found their voice and are crying out with a rage; and the “deaf “ are beginning to hear the commotion, and the ruckus in the streets! Never at anytime in our global history has so much, been taken away from so many, by so few! The time to draw the line was yesterday people!! The naysayers will be first to shout that the individual amounts to nothing and we cannot change anything. But it was Margaret Mead who said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” It is not only the time to take back our country—we have to take back our planet also—however, by starting single-mindedly keeping focused on getting our country back we will sow the seeds for the fight of taking back our planet.
