First of all, I’ve been there many times and have bought many things. So I’m not a new kid here. Trust me, 4 pages of my passport are full of JB stamp.

When I was on my way from Singapore to JB, the traffic was damn jammed. Looks like the god was telling me that “today is not your day”

Upon arriving, I made my way straight to the shop that I always been to. The shopkeeper told me that the black color is sold out and there is no discount although I need to buy 3 set of PSPs. Well, man…I always buy from you, at least just say something nicer. Ok, that’s fine I can check another shop. The price here is 750 RM for PSP console and 4G memory card. (aka 1 set from now on)

The second shop was asking only 700 RM for 1 set. Wow how cheap!!! I immediately say yes, I’ll take 3 set. They have put 3 boxes in front of me. I told them that I’ll go for dinner while you are making it up (screen protector, copy games, etc). Then I went to get my money changed from SGD to RM and had my dinner. (huh happy meal right? I came all the way long and things are cheaper than expected)

After my dinner, yeah, this is the beginning of the story.

The second shop told me that, there is only 1 black color left and also the Battery is spoiled. He asked me to change to the original batt and the price had to increased from 700 RM to 790 RM. Well, do you guys think it gonna be an original battery? I don’t think so. Maybe they’ve just realized that they’ve offered me too cheap comparing to another shop. I then fucked them up and walked away looking for the next shop.

At 3^rd shop, the girl there offered me 769 for 1 set. I told here that I need 3 set if you can give 750 each. She put 3 boxes in front of me and keep calculating (in her mind maybe). Suddenly, another guy (maybe the shopkeeper) approached me saying so many things, ended up with 822 RM each, no matter how many set you are buying. Cool, it was 769 RM and now increased to 820 RM. Shit!! Fuck up. The more you buy, the more expensive it is. This is the first time in my life!!

4^th shop, Well, nothing much here. After calculation, it was 800+ RM so I walked away.

5^th shop was asking for 800+ RM for original batt. I then asked what if OEM batt? He replied, “Well, it’s 730 RM” BTW, I’ve noticed that, no matter their original or OEM, it’s screwed up. They have just put the sticker with the word “Sony” there. I think my batt will be gone very soon if I buy here. Man, at least invest more!!!

In summary, I spent 3 hours in the shopping mall, dancing around with all bullshitting shopkeepers, ended up with nothing. Apart from that, I lost some money because the exchange rates. Well, lessons learn!!!
