I am a person who is super happy (97% of the time) !! I love the Lord Jesus and worship him and talk to him every day. I depend on his guidance and strength. I am a recovering alcoholic, a very grateful one! I lost the Lord for many, many years. He was always there, I can see it now but in my drinking and drugging days, I didn't see it and didn't care. He let me get burned hard many times and pulled me back from death several times! I spent many years on the dark side, on my knees and close to death but the Lord pulled me back into the light and I am a very fulfilled person and finally with peace and serenity. OK, enough of that, I am single and retired and loving it!! My family out here in Vancouver is very small, (just my dog Lisa, the Lord Jesus and Yours truly!!). We have a small, budget and a small apt. to go with it but we are very content and happy with our lot in life, the Lord always provides!. I still would love to find a companion to share our lives together, most things are better shared (with our own time and space if and when we want or need it). I was raised on a cattle ranch in North Central Nebraska, school and then joined the US Navy and haven't stopped since!!!! PS> I have one year clean and sober as of November the 1st.
