English is a straightful language... is usefull for sales, feelings, letters ... and that kind of occations when we need to say something brief. But I'm not in the mood... so, please.. take your time.
In Harrry Poter, Rowlings use a word: "Avada Kedavra" which means "what I speak is destroyed" influenced by the latin word "cadaver" = corpse. But suddenly that word brings to my memory the old word "Abracadabra"... well maybe you know that Abracadabra is a word that came from the Gnosis word "Abraxas".
The Gnostics have the little problem to use their apparently oldest knowledge saying that this word come from the old Assiria, because they use to find some similarity with the Syrian God Abracalan.
But Abracadabra really comes from the Aramic "Abhadda Kedhabhra" and that word means "disappear like this word" a expression used by Doctors, rather than beign used as a curse was used as a means of treating illness!!
Recently I was wondering why when we use the word "Terrorism!" we use it like a new stigma for all little armed group who are not agree with the majority.
Or for those groups who are against the "Empire".
The word *Terrorism comes from the French Revolution, and was used in reference to the "Reign of Terror"
mmmmm.. the meaning was clear.
Everything that brings terror upon the individuals is terrorism
The difference: Today we used this word to define any kind of "revolutionaries" and not against the "oppressors".
* In 1988 a study made by the Unated States Army "found more than one hundred deffinitions about this word" so, *they* determinate that this word could be used against all who use violence in the pursuit of political aims
My conclussion is this: The Magic words are real.
And could be this word the most useful tool to eliminate the Reign of Terror in French Revolution.. and could be used against all who do not talk our same language.
