April 16, 2008 (Sawf News) - The film by south director Shankar was to begin production in May on a two month back-back-schedule.

Aishwarya Rai recently joined husband Abhishek Bachchan in Miami, Florida, to be with him on April 20, their first wedding anniversary.

Abhishek, in Miami for the filming of Tarun Mansukhani directed Dostana, plans to take two days off for his anniversary, letting co-stars John Abraham, Bobby Deol and Priyanka Chopra do the honors on set during the time.

Early morning in Miami on April 20, Abhishek and Aishwarya will interact with journalists attending a press event to promote Sarkar Raj, using a satellite hookup.

The film, their first together after marriage, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, who will be present in Mumbai during the event.

The film's director, Ram Gopal Varma, claims his decision to hold the promotional event on the day of their anniversary was a coincidence.
